Lil Wayne says he's no longer speaking to Birdman, and confirms that "The Free Weezy Album" is on the way.
Lil Wayne hasn't revealed much on the going-ons between him and Birdman, save for a few tweets and the legal documents that surfaced after he filed his $51 million-lawsuit against Cash Money. Recently Weezy got on the phone with Rolling Stone, and opened up a bit about his current situation, including The Free Weezy Album.
Around Valentine's Day it was reported that FWA would be dropping as a mixtape, and although Lil Wayne tweets hinted at this too, Mack Maine shot it down. Talking to Rolling Stone, Wayne confirmed that he is working on it while he waits on the release of Tha Carter V (which he says is "super-done"), and that he plans to release it for free in March.
"I'm working on it every day, man," he said of FWA. "I guarantee it's going to be something dope. If you don't want a musician being creative, don't get The Free Weezy Album."
As for the highly anticipated C5, he says, "It's super-done. Cake baked, icing on top, name on top, candles lit. I would have released it yesterday if I could. But it's a dead subject right now. It's a jewel in the safe. It's that stash-house money."

Finally, on the subject of Birdman, Tunechi is reportedly no longer speaking to the man he dubbed his father. "I have no words," he said of the situation. "I'm super-numb to it, to tell you the truth." He also would not speak on the ongoing legal issues.
